Who runs CandleLingo
CandleLingo is run by Rahul and Annapurna. We are responsible for your personal data (the "data controller"). You can reach us at support@candlelingo.com.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website, and our fonts are hosted on our own site.
Children
CandleLingo is built to be safe for young learners. If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must join the waitlist for you using their own email address. We don't knowingly collect email addresses from children under 16. If you think a child has signed up directly, email us and we'll delete it.
Why we collect it
To send you one email when the CandleLingo app launches. We rely on your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist.
Who handles it
Your email is stored by the form service we use to run the waitlist, or in our support inbox if you join by email. We never sell or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Until the launch email is sent, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your email at any time by writing to support@candlelingo.com. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority; in Ireland, that's the Data Protection Commission.
